Who do we listen to? Podcasters, influencers, lecturers, friends, family? How are their words shaping us? And where are their words taking us?
The book of Proverbs promises to give us something essential to navigate life well in God’s world - wisdom. But what exactly is it? And where is it found?
At our next Weekender we’re going to be guided through Proverbs 1-9 together, following in the footsteps of Jesus, to embark on a lifetime’s journey of walking with the wise.

Who?
Nathan Weston will be teaching us on the Saturday morning. He is one of our elders, was on the staff team until last year and is currently studying for a PhD in the book of Proverbs.
You can find out a bit more about Nathan here but best thing is to chat to him on a Sunday. What he might not tell you is that he’s the kind of guy who would choose Blue Banana…

We’ll be meeting at our High Street building in Lancaster.

9.30-10.00am: Arrival and coffee
10.00-11.15am: What is wisdom?
11.15-11.45am: Coffee break
11.45am-12.25pm: Where is wisdom found?
12.25-12.45pm: Discussion groups
12.45-1.30pm: Lunch
1.30-3.30pm: Afternoon outing to Wallings Ice Cream
